What Many Christians Believe
Christians often share many of the same beliefs. Some Christians agree on certain core beliefs but differ on others.
Here are some of the beliefs shared by many Christians:
1. The Bible, both old and new testaments are verbally inspired by God. These writings are the final authority and are supreme.
2. There is one God and he exists in the Trinity. The Trinity is three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus Christ is true God and true man.
4. We were created in the image of God; we sinned and suffered physical death as well as separation from God. We are born with a sinful nature and sin in thought, word and deed.
5. Jesus died for our sins and if we believe in Him we are saved because of His sacrifice.
6. We believe in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus and His Ascension into heaven.
7. We believe that Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead.
8. We believe that all who receive Jesus by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and are the children of God.
There are other doctrines and creeds that individual denominations follow. Each church has governing beliefs and
certain ways of carrying out their beliefs.
Christians may differ in some areas of belief but hold many of the same convictions as truth. It is interesting to compare the teachings of different Christian churches. Not every Christian or every Christian church will agree on every doctrine or teaching.

Aargh those Pesky Sleep Problems!
It’s 2am and your baby is up for the third time since 7pm.
She’s 2 months old and from all the books and magazines you’ve read
SHE’S SUPPOSED TO BE SLEEPING THROUGHT HE NIGHT!!!!!
How long can this go on?!!! As difficult as this is it doesn’t last forever.
The first few weeks of a baby’s life are key in setting a healthy sleep pattern that can last a lifetime.
At first your infant doesn’t know much about the differences between day and night. From what she is used to when the home turns quiet is the time to wake up and when there is movement and activity around her is the time to sleep. Slowly she will adjust during her first few weeks and as she does it’s important to set up nice bedtime and wake up time routines so she will understand her roll in it all. Here are some things to keep in mind…
1. Does your baby have a bedtime routine? Setting up a bedtime routine is key. Bath, book, etc. This can be added on to as the child grows.
2. Is your baby going to bed at an age appropriate time? This is part of the routine. Yeah we know they’re just going to wake up for a bottle in 30 minutes but putting them in the place for sleep early on sends the message that “this is bedtime”.
3. When your baby wakes up each time during the night do you respond immediately with a bottle and cuddling or do you first try the pat and assure method to see if it’s just normal night time waking?
4. Does you child take enough naps during the day
5. Sometimes a little “white noise” can help. I myself sleep with a fan and use hymn CD for my babies.
6. Make sure you keep baby’s crib and bassinet free from toys. This is the place for sleep not play.
7. I’m sure you’ve heard to try and keep the night feedings boring. Change, feed, bed. No talky no playie. I’ve actually done this
with great success.
8. Upon waking make sure you greet your baby with a smile and a good morning. They love that!
Whatever you try remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel and you are not alone.

Choosing The Best Baby Shower Favors
Planning a baby shower is an exciting and fun time for the expectant mother, her family, her friends and her coworkers as well. Baby showers are fun for everyone and they are a great party as well, complete with games, gifts and of course some great party favors.
Choosing the right party favors for a baby shower can be challenging for the person whose job it is to plan the whole thing and make it memorable. There are so many choices when it comes to choosing party favors for the baby shower that it can often be somewhat overwhelming.
==Shop Around And Match The Baby Shower Favors To The Personality Of The Mother To Be==
The key to choosing the very best party favors, as with many other things, is to shop around, and to pay close attention to the personalities and individual tastes of the new mom and the baby shower guests.
==Places To Find Ideas For Baby Shower Favors==
When looking around for ideas, there are a number of places to look. The many magazines and books dedicated to baby related subjects and new mothers often have some great articles about baby showers, complete with some innovative and interesting ideas for the party favors to be used.
If you have attended a baby shower recently, you may be a step ahead of the game when looking for the perfect baby shower favors.
You may want to choose a party favor similar to the one you yourself received if you liked it. Or you may want to choose a variation on the theme of those party favors.
==Ask Your Family Members, Friends And Coworkers For Baby Shower Favor ideas==
Even if you have not attended a recent baby shower, chances are that one of your family members or close friends has. Be sure to ask your family members, friends and coworkers what kinds of party favors they chose for their own baby showers, or what types of party favors they liked the best.
==Tried And True Baby Shower Favors==
There are a number of tried and true party favors that always seem to be a hit with any baby shower, no matter who the expectant mother is. Some of the most poplar baby shower gifts, of course, include food, and a baby bootie or rattle filled with chocolate is likely to be a big hit with any set of baby shower guests.
No matter what type of party favors you choose for your baby shower, your guests and the mom to be will all enjoy the thoughtfulness and the time you spent putting the party together.

Subliminal Persuasion
Subliminal persuasion? It is simply influencing people at a level below their conscious recognition. Many people don’t even realize they are being influenced by a smile, making even that a subliminal technique. Here are two more subtle methods.
Subliminal Persuasion Using Inflection
It is easy to assume that a sentence like “I can’t promise you that price.” has only one meaning. In reality, though, inflection provides much of the actual meaning. Look at the each of the sentences below, each with a different word emphasized, and followed by the implied meaning.
I can’t promise you that price. (But maybe someone can.)
I CAN’T promise you that price. (There’s no way.)
I can’t PROMISE you that price. (But maybe you’ll get it.)
I can’t promise YOU that price. (But I can promise someone else.)
I can’t promise you THAT price. (But maybe a good price.)
I can’t promise you that PRICE. (But I can promise something.)
The meaning of our statements is determined by which words we emphasize, and it is a subtle process. If you can’t promise him that price, you can tell him “I can’t promise you that PRICE,” and he may still feel good about the situation, especially if you immediately follow with what you can promise him. You probably know what you want to say. Understanding the subtle and often subliminal power of inflection will mean you actually say it.
Subliminal Persuasion Using Their Own Words
Restate what a person has said they want, and then show them how you can give them that. We all need to have some internal consistency, so we don’t like to act against what we say. This is why, as long as you have what they need, this technique works well. For an example, we’ll suppose you are selling a prospect a vacation.
After listening to what they want, you find something that fits their needs, and then say, “If I remember right, you said you wanted a warm beach, under $2,000 for the week, and with nearby nightlife. I think we’re in luck. Both of the packages we just looked at fit your criteria, so do you like Cancun or the Bahamas better?”
It is tough for someone to say they are not interested when you just found exactly what they said they wanted, and reminded them of their words. They probably won’t even notice that you are using their exact words. They’ll just feel uncomfortable contradicting what they said, and find it easier to agree. That’s subliminal persuasion.

Non Status Car Leasing for the UK Marketplace
Non Status Car Leasing for People with Bad Credit
Shopping for a new car should be an exciting and rewarding experience, but it can be all gloom and doom if you have non status credit. What could be worse than finding the exact car of your dreams, in just the right colour, with all of the right options, and then getting turned down by the dealer, bank, or finance company because of your credit history or some other circumstance that makes you non status?
Well, if you were the only person that this has ever happened to, then it would be fair to say that you are well and truly hosed. But, the fact is, there are millions of people in the U.K. who have less than perfect credit, or find themselves classified as non status because of a recent divorce, being self employed, or just simply not having any credit history to rely on. And yes, these people still can get into a new car. Want to know how they do it? Here’s the secret.
Non Status Car Leasing Options
There are U.K. car financing companies who specialize in helping people who are classified as non status. These automobile loan companies realize that credit problems happen to good people, and the chances are that you will make your payments on time if someone would just give you a chance to prove it.
Here’s how it works for Non Status Car Leasing
Typically you go about your business shopping for a car just like you normally would. Once you determine the make and model you want, and what options you want to order, you contact your non status car leasing loan provider and give them all of the details.
You’ll have to fill out a credit application, but don’t panic! They already know that you have non status credit or you wouldn’t be coming to them. The application process is a legal requirement for any legitimate car loan provider. Once the application is completed, and the lender approves you for the amount you need, their expert car financing staff goes to work for you.
The way that it works is the non status car loan company will usually buy the car themselves and then lease it to you for a pre-determined period of time. You simply make the monthly payments just as if you leased it through a more traditional lender. As you make each payment you are building your good credit which will go a long way towards helping you when you are ready to get your next car. All you need to do is keep up with your payments.
Should you ever find yourself in a position where you just can’t make a payment when it is due, contact your non status lender right away. Being honest and up front will keep the relationship running smoothly, and the chances are they will be able to help you over the occasional rough spot.
One last word: Be absolutely sure that you deal with a legitimate, licensed lender who specializes in providing non status car leasing alternatives. The last thing that you want to do is end up signing a car leasing deal with a company that’s running a scam!
One company that has the reputation and experience in non status car leasing to get the job done are the people at http://www.alphaleasing.co.uk/non_status_car_leasing.htm. Visit their site and see how easy non status car leasing can be for you.

4 Free Premiership Picks from the fixture on Saturday
Premiership by ecobika
Liverpool – Blackburn
The Reds, who visit Anderlecht in the Champions League next Wednesday, have already played 15 League and Cup matches this term. They have become the Premiership’s draw specialists. An eventual defeat would mean their worst ever start to a Premiership season.
Last round, a very demoralising defeat at Anfield: Liverpool 1 Chelsea 4.
Blackburn are four points better off than Liverpool, even though they’ve failed to score in four of the last six Premiership matches.
I am stick to my idea: Liverpool is a different story in the Premiership and in the Champions League.
Ecobika’s bet: Liverpool will not win this match, with other words: X2.
West Bromwich – Arsenal
Gera, the Hungarian playmaker and striker is doubtful, but I think, he will be fit – after not travelling to Bulgaria to participate in the Hungarian National team latest defeat…
Brom is in its worts form since last December, only 1 point from the last 18 possible!
Brom biggest problem is the weakest defence in the Premiership.
Surprisingly, Arsenal has not won away yet, but 3 points here could be enough to lift them back into the top two, depending on other results.
Ecobika’bet: away.
Sunderland – Manchester United
Sunderland – which is without key midfielders Julio Arca and Christian Bassila – almost at the bottom.
MU got back on track with an odd goal in five victory at Fulham last time out, thus ending a three-game winless run in the Premiership. Unbeaten on the last six matches.
Hard to imgagine other result than easy away victory, even if we know that Lille will come on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Ecobika’s bet: away.
Middlesbrough – Portsmouth
Boro have lost only one of their last six League and Cup matches, the only worrying thing is the last 10 minutes, as having conceded four of the 11 goals shipped this season in the 81st to 90th minute sector.
Portmouth is unbeaten against Boro. I think this is the time when the record will be broken. Ecobika’s bet: home.

An Outstanding Cover Letter: You Need One, Too
There is nothing that can compare to an outstanding cover letter. If you want to get an employer’s attention, you will need cover letter that demands their attention.
The cover letter is the first thing that an employer is going to read. It is the precursor to the resume. If the cover letter doesn’t command the attention of the reader right away, then you only have the resume left to do so. Sure, the resume will outline your educational and experiential background, but it doesn’t afford the flexibility of a cover letter.
An outstanding cover letter gives you an opportunity to tailor your credentials in a way that the resume does not. You are able to explain situations so that the employer understands why, for instance, you have a 2 year gap in your employment dates. You can expound on a specific skill set. You can outline a situation that shows the employer how accomplished you are. There is so much more that an outstanding cover letter can do.
Do not underestimate the importance of an outstanding cover letter.
Remember that a cover letter is short and to the point. If at all possible, keep the cover letter to one page. Keep it professional, but be sure to sell yourself, too.
Map out the information you want to place in each section, then go back through and fine tune it. Don’t try to write brilliantly from the salutation to the signature in the first draft. Revise it each time you go through it.
An outstanding cover letter is also tailored to the employer’s needs. If the ad you read states that the employer is looking for someone with three years of managerial experience, then you need to include something in your cover letter that states you have managerial experience. If you do not have that much experience, show the employer how much you have learned and how quickly you learned it. Let the employer know that you are determined to be successful.
Once you think you have everything the way you want it in your cover letter, proofread it. You can say everything an employer wants to hear, but if your cover letter is loaded with spelling and grammar errors, you will not get anywhere.
Making sure your cover letter is error-free is definitely one step in the right direction. You want to get an interview, right? An outstanding cover letter requires some time and thought up front, but the payback is that awesome job you really want.

Parents Are You Worried About What Your Kids Are Looking At On the Internet?
The advent of the Internet, in some respects, made the job of parenting a little harder. We want our children to experience the vast wealth of knowledge available on the Internet and communicate with their friends online (frees up the telephone). Unfortunately, it also potential exposes our children to inappropriate material, obscene pop-up ads, and even sexual predators. In fact, research indicates that 1 in 5 children aged 10 to 17 have received a sexual solicitation over the Internet. This is definitely not something any parent wants to hear, but is forced to face.
We need a little assurance that when our children access the web, they can do so safely. Internet filters are crucial to protect your children. One tool that can assist us in this goal is Internet Parental Control software. One of the top names in parental control software is ContentWatch, and if the Big Mouse himself recommends this product, then it has to be good. If Disney feels good enough to install three of the ContentWatch products in their Disney Dream Desk PC, it has to be worthy. After all, they are willing to stake their reputation on it.
Internetfilterreviews.com rated ContentProtect 2.0 the #1 Internet filtering software. It is easy to install, configure, and customize. If you do have any problems, ContentWatch provides unlimited toll-free technical support. ContentProtect can blocks pornography, hate sites, questionable chat rooms, and other known dangers of the Internet. You can even configure ContentProtect to block online game and gambling sites, and make it so your children can only install and play computer games with parental ratings that you deem appropriate.
Other features include:
Integration with Safe Search features in popular search engines
Reports of your children’s internet activity
Logs of your child’s chat room and instant messages
Reports if your child tries to remove or disable protection
Filters bad content on Peer-to-Peer networks and other areas
Password protected access for parents
Customizable restrictions for each family member.
Automatic software updates at no additional cost.
ContentWatch provides a two-week, no-obligation free trial of the full version by going to http://justcb.com/contentwatch. The product costs $39.99 per seat (installs on only one computer). This is a one time purchase price which will give you unlimited use of the service. You never have to renew a subscription or pay any additional membership fees for use of the program. It seems like a reasonable price for a little parental peace of mind.

Buying Organic Produce: 6 Tips on How to Shop Wisely and Save Money
Some say they don’t or can’t buy organic foods due to higher cost and less availability. Here are a few ways to make organics more affordable and easier to purchase for your family.
1. Do not always assume organic is more expensive. Look at the prices of conventional and organic products and compare. You may be surprised that on some items, there is little or no difference in price, depending on where and when you buy.
2. Buy in season. These items will be the lowest priced, whether you’re shopping at a specialty market or local farmer’s market.
3. Grow your own. Even a small window box can yield some organic herbs or tomatoes. Larger areas can accommodate lettuce, strawberries, broccoli, carrots and more. A garden is also a great classroom and hobby for children and adults alike.
4. Shop at one of the more than 2,500 farmers’ markets in the United States. The produce here is as fresh as possible, because the food is usually picked within 24 hours of your purchase. This is a great place to check prices with little effort. Becoming a regular shopper and getting to know growers personally, is a good way to get the best selection and price.
5. Join a food cooperative. A food co-op is kind of a buyers club for affordable, fresh, local organic and natural products. It is an actual store where members buy “shares” of the business to provide the capital necessary to run the store efficiently. You as a member directly influence the kind and variety of products and foods available, and also receive a discount in the store. Many co-ops allow you to “buy” shares by volunteering several hours per week or month.
6. Visit a farm and pick your own produce. Children love to experience something new, especially when it involves dirt and food. According to the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) “Parents had reported that their children started to eat more vegetables after visiting a farm on a school field trip, having experienced for the first time the process of gardening.”
