Loads of suggestions for a theme were made by Pride members and the public the Board of Trustees and Staff unanimously voted for the theme ‘Pride Beside The Seaside’ Pride in Brighton & Hove promotes equality and diversity, and advances education to eliminate discrimination against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community. It raises awareness of these issues by facilitating and promoting a of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival. It also uses its own success to promote and financially support other voluntary and charitable organisations..
