There is a sense of quiet emanates from contemporary spaces because of their sheer simplicity and the lack of distraction. Color palettes are soothing and simple, white and black are popular with pops of bold colors to direct the eye. You want a balance between light and dark which is balancing. Fabrics are smooth like cottons, leathers, velvets are frequently seen. a lot of hard metals are as they epitomize the strong structure of modern Decorating.
